The Nationwide Park Service on October 11 will start shutting off water to the higher Vibrant Angel and North Kaibab trails in Grand Canyon Nationwide Park due to freezing temperatures within the forecast.

Water filling stations can be shut off for the season alongside the Vibrant Angel and North Kaibab trails affecting Mile-and-a-Half and Three-Mile resthouses on the Vibrant Angel Path and Supai Tunnel on the North Kaibab Path. This adjustment is important on account of an incoming chilly entrance and projected freezing in a single day temperatures that may influence the Transcanyon Water Distribution Pipeline.

Water filling stations will proceed to be accessible on the following areas alongside the Vibrant Angel and North Kaibab trails:

North Kaibab Path

Phantom Ranch and Vibrant Angel Campground

Vibrant Angel Path
